Zion National Park Jeep Tours – New Custom Jeeps

The tradition of christening a new vehicle signifies good luck and safe travels. This past week, Zion Ponderosa owner Steve Neeleman gathered his family together to christen and name our new Jeeps. The timing was perfect, with the entire clan on property for a family reunion. Each of the new built-to-spec custom Jeeps was named for a female family member involved with Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort.

Rosebud: In honor of the mother of resort owners Steve and David Neeleman.

Jules: Named for Julie, Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort’s General Manager.

Lulu: For Lauren, who played an integral role in finding a company to build the custom Jeeps and in setting up our Jeep program and adventures.

East Zion Jeep Tours is proud to offer exciting Jeep adventures on the eastern edge of Zion National Park. These new custom-built Jeeps are equipped for Zion’s unique and challenging trails. Professional guides lead guests on a journey through Zion’s wild and untamed backcountry, through history and to scenic overlooks that will take your breath away.

One of our most popular Jeep tours includes an overlook where guests can see the edge of Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park and the Grand Canyon. East Zion Jeep Tours operates in conjunction with Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort, which has been family owned for over 50 years. Located on the east side of Zion National Park, Zion Ponderosa is a perfect multi-day destination for vacation and adventure.
